What Happens
Instead of substituting on a single position, a Tidal Wild crashes across 3-5 adjacent cells in a wave pattern (left-to-right, top-to-bottom, or diagonal — direction is RNG-assigned each spin). Every cell the wave touches becomes a wild for that drop. The expanded wild zone often forms or extends a winning cluster on its own. If the resulting cluster scores, Splash Zone Respins kick in immediately.
Multipliers
No internal multiplier on the wild itself — its value comes from cluster size. A 5-cell wave plus surrounding matching symbols can build clusters of 12-18 symbols, paying 8x-30x bet before any cascade multiplier is applied.
Odds
3-cell wave: ~55% of all Tidal Wild events. 4-cell: ~30%. 5-cell wave: ~15% (typically required for the highest cluster payouts in base play).
Variants
Wave direction varies. A horizontal 5-cell wave near the bottom row is the strongest base outcome — it usually overlaps premium symbols. A vertical wave on column 1 or column 6 can wash off the grid edge, wasting 1-2 wild positions.

Tidal Wilds are the main cluster builder in base game — about 35% of base RTP flows through them. Don't bet for specific wave directions (RNG only), but recognize that a 5-cell wave landing on a near-cluster is the moment to expect a Splash Zone chain. How to Trigger
Any winning cluster of 5+ adjacent matching symbols on the 6×5 grid (or 8×6 during Kraken Free Spins).
What Happens
Winning symbols lock in place and pay out. Empty positions refill with new symbols dropping from above. If the new drop forms another cluster — anywhere on the grid, including extending the locked cluster — the chain continues. Each consecutive win in the chain advances the Cascade Multiplier counter. The chain ends only when a respin produces no new cluster.
Multipliers
Splash Zone itself adds no multiplier. Its value is in chain length: average chain runs 1.4 wins (single cluster). Chains of 3+ happen ~12% of the time. Chains of 5+ happen ~2.5% of the time and average 50x-90x bet payouts.
Odds
Any base game spin has ~24% hit frequency, so ~24% of spins enter at least one respin. Long Splash Zone chains correlate strongly with Tidal Wave Wild assistance — about 70% of 4+ cascade chains involved at least one Tidal Wild.
Variants
In base game, Cascade Multipliers reset between separate spins. During Free Spins, Splash Zone chains carry the multiplier across spins — there's effectively no chain reset for the entire bonus. This is the single biggest difference between base and bonus play.
Strategy
You can't influence chain length, but you can recognize when one is building. If the Cascade counter hits 3x in base game, sit through the next drop — premium symbols get paid out at the elevated multi. How to Trigger
Automatically active during every Splash Zone Respin chain. Counter advances on each consecutive win within a chain.
What Happens
Counter steps: 1x → 2x → 3x → 5x → 10x. Tenth-step (10x) holds for any subsequent wins in the same chain. In base game, the multiplier resets to 1x once the chain ends. During Clash Showdown Free Spins, the multiplier persists across every spin and every chain — it only goes up, never down. Reach 10x mid-bonus and every remaining cluster pays at 10x minimum.
Multipliers
Step values: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x. Octopus path adds sticky position multipliers (2x-10x) on top of the cascade — these stack multiplicatively. A 10x cascade hitting a cluster that includes a 5x sticky position = 50x total multi on that cluster.
